⭐ Favorite Operations

This document provides a detailed guide on how users can save jobs as favorites in the Middleman App. This feature allows users to bookmark jobs they are interested in, making it easier to find and review them later.

🔍 How to Save a Job as Favorite​

To mark a job as a favorite, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Middleman App.
  2. Navigate to the Job Listings or My Jobs section.
  3. Locate the job you want to save.
  4. Tap the ⭐ Favorite (Save) Icon next to the job title.
  5. The job will be added to your Favorites List.
  6. You will see a confirmation message:
    ✅ "Job has been added to your favorites!"

📌 Viewing Your Favorite Jobs​

Once you have saved jobs as favorites, you can easily access them:

  1. Go to the Main Menu.
  2. Tap on the Favorites section.
  3. A list of all your saved jobs will be displayed.
  4. Each job entry will show:
    • Job Title
    • Category & Subcategory
    • Job Start Date
    • Job Status (Open, In Progress, Completed)
    • Date Added to Favorites

🛠 Managing Favorite Jobs​

1️⃣ Removing a Job from Favorites​

  • If you no longer want to keep a job in your favorites, you can remove it:
    1. Open the Favorites section.
    2. Find the job you want to remove.
    3. Tap the ⭐ (Unfavorite) Icon to remove it.
    4. A confirmation message will appear:
      ❌ "Job has been removed from your favorites."

2️⃣ Applying for a Favorited Job​

  • If you find a job in your favorites that you want to apply for:
    1. Open the job details page.
    2. Click the Apply Now button.
    3. Follow the job application process.

3️⃣ Checking Job Updates​

  • Saved jobs will automatically update if:
    • The job status changes (e.g., Open → In Progress).
    • The job gets deleted by the creator.
    • The job receives new responses.

🚨 Note: If a job is deleted, it will be removed from your favorites automatically.

🔔 Notifications & Updates​

  • You will receive notifications when:
    • A favorited job is updated.
    • A favorited job gets new responses.
    • A favorited job is deleted or closed.
