📱 Change Mobile Number

This document provides a step-by-step guide on how users can update their registered mobile number in the Middleman App. Once a mobile number is changed, the user must verify the new number before continuing to use the app.


🔄 Why Change Your Mobile Number?

  • Ensure you receive important notifications and messages.
  • Keep your account secure and up to date.
  • Use a new mobile number for verification and login purposes.

📌 Steps to Change Your Mobile Number

Step 1: Navigate to Mobile Number Update Section

  1. Log in to the Middleman App.
  2. Open the User Profile section.
  3. Tap on Change Mobile Number.

Step 2: Enter New Mobile Number

  1. A form will appear prompting you to enter your new mobile number.
  2. Select your country from the dropdown (this will auto-fill the country code).
  3. Enter your new mobile number.
  4. Click on Submit.

Step 3: Verification Process

  1. A 6-digit verification code will be sent to your new mobile number via SMS.
  2. Enter the verification code in the provided field.
  3. Click Verify Mobile Number.

Step 4: Log Out & Re-login

  • Once verification is successful, you will be automatically logged out.
  • Log in again using your existing email ID and the new mobile number.

Step 5: Confirmation

  • You will receive a confirmation message: "Your mobile number has been successfully updated."
  • Now, all future communication will be sent to your updated mobile number.
