This document provides a detailed guide on how users can search for specific service categories, select subcategories, and view available professionals based on their location.

📌 Search Flow Overview​

Users can find professionals by following these steps:

  1. Search for a Category – Users enter a keyword related to the service they need.
  2. Select a Category – The system displays relevant categories based on the search.
  3. Choose a Subcategory – After selecting a category, all related subcategories are displayed.
  4. View Available Professionals – The system lists professionals who offer the selected service within the user’s location.

🚀 Step-by-Step Search Process​

Step 1: Enter Search Query​

  1. Navigate to the Search Bar in the app.
  2. Type a keyword related to the service (e.g., plumbing, haircut, electrician).
  3. The app will provide real-time category suggestions based on the search term.

Step 2: Select a Service Category​

  1. From the suggested list, select the most relevant category.
  2. Once selected, the app will display all subcategories within the chosen category.

Step 3: Choose a Subcategory​

  1. Browse the list of subcategories displayed.
  2. Select the one that matches the specific service needed.

Step 4: View Available Professionals​

  1. After selecting a subcategory, the app will:
    • Detect the user's current location (if location services are enabled).
    • Display professionals available within the user's vicinity.
    • Show profile details of professionals, including:
      • Name & Profile Image
      • Experience Level
      • Languages Spoken
      • Hourly Rate
      • Availability
      • Ratings & Reviews
      • Portfolio Images (if available)
  2. Users can filter professionals based on:
    • Price Range
    • Experience Level
    • Availability (Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends)
    • Ratings & Reviews

Step 5: Select a Professional​

  1. Tap on a professional's profile to view more details.
  2. Check their availability and select a suitable time slot (if applicable).
  3. Click the Book Now or Request a Quote button to proceed.

  • Location-Based Filtering: Users can manually enter a different location to see professionals in another area.
  • Save to Favorites: Users can save professionals for future reference.
